1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Kindle House Events Ltd website at kindlehouseevents.co.uk and the provision of our catering services.
By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Kindle House Events Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16954537. Registered address: 23 Burrfields Road, Portsmouth, England, PO3 5DP.
2. Services
Kindle House Events Ltd provides professional event catering services including, but not limited to, private event catering, corporate catering, wedding catering, and bespoke menu design.
All services are subject to availability and the terms agreed in writing between Kindle House Events Ltd and the client.
3. Bookings and Confirmation
A booking is not confirmed until a written agreement has been signed by both parties and a deposit has been received. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total agreed fee is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation charges apply:
- More than 90 days before the event: deposit only
- 60–90 days before the event: 50% of the total fee
- 30–60 days before the event: 75% of the total fee
- Less than 30 days before the event: 100% of the total fee
We strongly recommend that clients take out appropriate event insurance to cover cancellation costs.
5. Changes to Bookings
Changes to confirmed bookings (including guest numbers, menu selections, and event details) must be made in writing and are subject to our agreement. Significant changes may result in revised pricing.
Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the event. We will cater for the confirmed number and charge accordingly.
6. Dietary Requirements and Allergens
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the dietary requirements and food allergies of all guests. This information must be provided no later than 14 days before the event.
While we take all reasonable precautions to manage allergens, we cannot guarantee that our food is free from all allergens due to the nature of our kitchen environment.
7. Liability
Kindle House Events Ltd's liability to clients is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses.
We maintain appropriate public liability insurance. Details are available upon request.
8. Website Use
The content of this website is for general information purposes only. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the information provided.
All content on this website, including text, images, and design, is the property of Kindle House Events Ltd and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
